Free model offers, plan eligibility, how promotional usage counts, and what happens when an offer ends.
Perch sometimes offers free access to additional models for a limited time. Each offer names the models, the eligible plans, and when it ends. Look for Promo in the model picker and check Settings → Usage for your remaining usage.
Free Launch Celebration Promo
The Cloud Agents launch celebration runs from October 6, 2026, at 2 p.m. Eastern until October 13, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. Eastern.

Choose the model yourself to use the offer. Leaving Perch on automatic Roost selection continues to use Roost's usual usage rules.
On Starter
Every model available on Starter is free to use within the plan's included allowance. No paid plan or credit card is required. Free does not mean unlimited: hosted usage still counts toward your included allowance and the usual usage limits.
During this celebration, Qwen 3.8 Max 0902 and Qwen 3.8 Flash are available alongside Laguna S 2.1, DeepSeek V4.1 Flash, and GLM 5.3 Flash. GPT-6.1 Sol remains Pro only.

On Pro
Free promo models don't use your manual-model allowance. Their usage counts toward Roost's fair-use limits at half price. The usual five-hour and weekly limits still apply, shared with your other Roost usage.
If promotional usage reaches a fair-use limit, wait for the rolling window to recover. Desktop and CLI can offer an explicit choice to continue on your usage credits at standard rates. Continuing at standard rates requires your choice.

When the offer ends
Promotional access and pricing end at the stated time. The two Qwen models return to Pro access, and Pro selections return to their usual usage rules. Starter's rotating lineup returns to the models available outside the launch offer; Qwen 3.8 27B replaces the two launch-week Qwens in its public picker.
Offers may differ, so check the current announcement and the model picker before starting a task. Your usage allowance and fair-use limits still apply throughout an offer.
