Pro plan
What Perch Pro includes, how its separate Roost and manual-model allowances work, and what happens when a rolling limit is reached.
Perch Pro is the paid individual plan. It costs $10 per month during Early Access; the list price is $20 per month. Pro includes every Roost tier, manual access to the full hosted model registry, and more room for agentic work across Perch AI Web, Desktop, and CLI.

The important part
Current Pro limits
One Perch Token (PT) represents $0.001 of metered hosted-model usage. These are the standard limits currently enforced for Pro accounts:
| Usage lane | Rolling 5 hours | Rolling 7 days | Billing period |
|---|---|---|---|
| Roost | 5,000 PT | 20,000 PT | No fixed monthly cap; fair use applies |
| Manual model selection | 15,000 PT | 37,500 PT | 75,000 PT |
The five-hour and seven-day windows are rolling, not fixed blocks on a clock. Usage stops counting toward a window as it becomes more than five hours or seven days old. The product shows when enough usage will leave the active window for work to resume.
The manual monthly allowance follows your subscription billing period and refreshes when that period renews. It does not reset on the first day of the calendar month unless that is also your renewal date.
Roost usage
Roost chooses a model for the task. Pro can use all four Roost tiers: Standard, Standard Max, Pro, and Pro Max.
Roost has no fixed monthly PT allowance on Pro. “Unlimited Roost” means you can continue using it throughout the billing period, subject to these rolling fair-use windows:
- 5,000 PT in any rolling five hours
- 20,000 PT in any rolling seven days
If the Roost five-hour or weekly limit is reached, Roost pauses until enough earlier usage leaves that window. Ordinary manual model pins remain available if their separate limits have not been reached.
These windows protect the shared service from runaway or automated bulk use. They apply across Perch AI Web, Desktop, and CLI because all three surfaces use the same account.
Manual model usage
A manual turn is one where you pin a named hosted model instead of letting Roost choose. Pro can pin any model in the current registry: a curated list is available on the web, while Desktop and CLI expose the full list.
Manual usage has three limits of its own:
- 15,000 PT in any rolling five hours
- 37,500 PT in any rolling seven days
- 75,000 PT per subscription billing period
If a five-hour or weekly manual limit is reached, named-model pins pause until usage leaves that rolling window. Roost remains available. If the 75,000 PT billing-period allowance is reached, switch back to Roost or wait for the next billing period.
From time to time, Perch may discount a manual model or make it free. Promoted manual usage may count toward the Roost fair-use window instead of the ordinary manual window. The promotion shown in the product controls the rate that applies.

Flock and the financial suites also exist on Starter. On Pro, their hosted model calls can use the premium registry and the larger, separate Pro usage lanes described above.
Billing and cancellation
Early Access Pro is $10 per month, discounted from the $20 list price. If you subscribe at the Early Access price, that rate continues on renewal unless Perch gives advance notice of a change.
You can cancel from Settings → Billing. Pro stays active through the paid period, then the account moves to Starter. Perch does not automatically charge usage overages. Bring-your-own-key usage is billed separately by the provider whose key you use.
Check your usage
Open Settings → Usage to see the active Roost and manual windows, your manual billing-period allowance, and when constrained usage will become available again. In the CLI, run /usage.
